Counting
In general, it’s the …th of the month, yet:
- 1st
- 2nd
- 3rd
- 21st
- 22nd
- 23rd
- 31st
- Etc…
I’m Dutch, and I value my own language, try to speak and write it properly. On the web, I hardly visit any local website; I don’t see the advantage when I can connect with the whole world, and so I’m using English - why not do that properly, too. Here’s some stuff I need to be reminded about.
Quotes

- “ for an opening double quote - [“];
- ” for a closing double quote - [”].
And because I often don’t finish my sentences:
- … for a horizontal ellipsis (three dot leader) - […].
