Lycoris

I've got the Lycoris icon set ported over to windows XP format as evidenced in this screenshot. They drop right into the defualt XP set flawlessly. I'd like to release them, but I think the GPL doesn't cover their icons or wallpapers. Oh well. They'd look great on my desktop if it weren't for the fact I'm using this Korilla/Gorilla/Gnome hybrid I wipped up last week.
I just felt like sharing.

These look good. I don't suppose they'd work on a win2K system?

Is it hard to do these conversions?

I don't know how they would come out on win2k, to be honest with you. Maybe sometime this weekend I'll upload something and you can give it a shot and let me know.

As far as the difficulty in conversion goes. Its painfully simple. Download the pngs or get them off whatever linux distro you use, open them up in Icon Sushi, save it as a multiple icon and you're done.

Once I got all the pngs on my system it only took maybe 15 minutes to do the whole conversion.

KDE-Look.org and Themedepot.org" are some good sites to find pngs to convert to icons if you want to give it a shot.

I have been using KDE icons in Win2K about 1 1/2 years and to me they look good to me.

KDE 2 or 3? I think that the KDE 2 icons are totally different from the KDE 3 icons in the same way 2000 icons and XP icons are different. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm somewhat hesitant to even mention it.

I have both KDE2 and KDE3 icons and have used both with Win2K but prefer the KDE2 icons which I am using now.
