Haven't spoken with pogz myself for a long while now, but I see Winmod forums are now gone (if I recall correctly they were still there a month ago ?), and http://www.wintweaker.net/ now redirects here. I've send the site, mysql table and such to pogz long time ago, and he asked to keep the site at VP alive for a while, so I never touched it. As such, I reckon you still have access to admin pages as it was before. Use if needed etc.

Hi all! Great to here from you guys, it really is I just bought this damn Sound Blaster Live 24-bit sound card, and it's giving me fits I say!!! It works, but it's almost "too" advanced. Can't get all the settings where I need them to be, but anyway....

des... I call them new hacks, but really, quite old, just never did tuts on them, lost touch and all. Explorer hacks they are indeed, and I only switched shells, not OS's. I'm still on Win 98, though I did go up to Second Edition, verses my old standard "First" Not any difference really, but oh well, felt it worth mentioning. Hacks on the way sir, me promises Oh, and they're both menu hacks

Plastic... my old friend indeed, things have changed for sure haven't they? I remember the old days, think about them all the time, though "new" days had to come about I guess in order for the "old" days to exist . The WinMod forums are still up, I still use them, browsing around, posting occasionally, I posted a similiar post as to my return on those forums a while before I did here. qoa is still posting there quite often. I had noticed that the site was redirecting back to VP again, whereas it did not for the longest. Pogz had purchased that domain, but oh well, either way, the site is still up, and hopefully still works I suppose I do need some access though plastic, as I've lost and and all VP FTP info. If you could email the neccessary information to me at wint at mississippi dot net, it would be appreciated, and again, it's good to talk to you man, really is

craeonics... yes, came to my senses indeed. I still use the explorer file manager, but that's it I love BBLean, it essentially is everything I always wanted... a fully customizable explorer, or that's how I see it anyway. It retains all of the typical explorer functions (except for the start menu) but yet, adds so many more options that I'de always wanted. I'm in love with it, and even recently formatted, installed a brand new copy of 98, and instantly, even before my usual tweaking, had to install BBLean, just couldn't be without it Good to see you're still around btw

Well, I've got to get back to this sound card of mine, damn fancy thing! Anyway, take care everyone, will be more active in the very near future. I'm still working at my lovely hospital, saving lives and taking names... They work me damn near to death there, but I love it, can't lie. Nothing quite like helping someone else, just nothing like it. I'm trying my best to make the most of my time though, especially for online activity, cause I just love the customization thing way to much to let it go as long as I did before. I'm staying around this time, guaranteed.

Dude, we got a whole section for hacking crap here. VP forums could use the livelyness anyway. A lil hot topic or two can't hurt either. We got all we need right here thanks to plastic and his band of merry men (who make evil icons).

red... I'm with you all the way on that. I'de love for it all to just be here at VP, not sure that can happen though I've been discussing this issue with plastic though, we're working something out, or at least, trying to. I'm giving plastic the control here indeed, not only is it his space, but he's got a lot of sense with this type of thing, knows just what to do, so I'm letting him handle as much as possible. Something shall rise up soon I hope

Yeah sketching, the BBLean bandwagon I certainly am on I love it, just love it too much really, gotten really used to it, can't function without it anymore, it's just a must have.

New screenie coming really soon, still working on it, so many more options then what I used to have, so takes much more time... the old/new/never reported hacks on the way as well

Looks like a few ppl have been getting hitched recently. Int comes to mind, and GuessHimself couldn't have been married for that long (might still be engaged, but modblog is down, so I can't check).

WinT: What plugins are you using for bbLean atm? Have you gotten into that much yet? And when is that screen shot coming?

Well Red, I'm using the simple ones man. I'm using the BBLeanSkin, and the BBLeanBar, that's all I love the control over the titlebars here, it's wonderful. No glitches, no bugs, no resource hogging, nothing. Looks great, works even better The taskbar is impressive to say the least. The right click options alone for the thing are all I could have ever needed. Iconless taskbar, thin and skinny as it can be, and it just works great here.

These things, again, represent what pulled me to BBLean so much. It was the closest thing to the default explorer I'de ever found in an alternate shell. Yeah, some RC file editing is required, but not much at all. I hardly ever see the inside of the RC files, I mean really, it's rare. I fine tuned my right click menu using notepad, and that's about it

After all Red, all I ever wanted was Windows functionality with the ability to customize just a bit more then I already could. With BBLean, I have achieved that to the maximum level. I love it, wouldn't switch back for nothing.

I tried LiteStep man, really did, gave it a good try, but just couldn't get used to it, didn't like it at all. I mean, I liked the options/features and all, but just hated the way it had to be configured. Again, with BBLean, right out of the box so to speak, it was good to go. In fact, it was so usable, that I could have left it alone, default install all the way, and could have efficiently computed from there on out without question, and that to me, says a whole hell of a lot ya know?

Anyway, the screenie is coming soon, well on it's way indeed, though still some work to do. I'm also currently recovering from a re-format job I had to do, as my computer decided to "break" the other day. I've gotten pretty much everything back to normal, but not quite. Still some fine tuning I must do, but do be looking, as it's on it's way
