Override some Windows hotkeys (Win+L, Win+U)

So I created this dialog that I prefer over the regular Windows Log Off dialog, but am trying to find a good way to incorporate it into my system. I was thinking if I could somehow override the Win+L hotkey to bring up my window, that would be perfect, but I haven't been able to find a way. Has anybody here figured out a way to do this?

Running Win XP, SP2.
Thanks

For those curious, here's the dialog I created.

Try: TweakUI > Explorer > uncheck "Enable Windows+x hotkeys"

The only problem with that is that I don't want ti disable all of them, just one of them (in this case Win+L).
Ah well, I'll figure out something else.

You can use HoeKey to selectively enable the ones that you use:
~r=RunDialog
~e=Run|explorer.exe
~u=Run|utilman.exe
...

It isn't perfect, but I don't know of any other way to override Win+L.

I've been looking for a replacement for WinKey for some time now, since it has to be constantly running. Does HoeKey have to be runniny constantly? If it does, is it possible to assign, say, Win+N to Notepad somewhere within windows so that I don't have to have an app for it running? I don't want to override the default windows ones, just create my own.

Yes it has to be keept running, but on the other hand it has a TINY footprint, from 150 kb to 250 kb. I can live with that! =)

And yes you can hae win-N open notepad. You can actaully set any hotkey to run any program. The program also has some other features like minimize any window to systray or hide any window.

You create as many or few hotkeys as you want to create.

Well, I now use HoeKey full time. It's great. Thanks for the tip.

any programs to do what you say will have to be running constantly because they all hook your keystrokes.

or you could try to byte-patch explorer =p
