Text Files on the desktop (?)

Hi everybody...

I was wondering if there was an app out there that would let me stick a text file on my desktop. Then the words would be superimposed on my wallpaper. And if I changed the text file, then it would update.

Any ideas?

Take care,
Farrukh

i'm pretty sure that both samerize or coolmon will do that.

as well, you probably could do it somehow with active desktop?? maybe, i had a plan to try that out at one time.

I'm am searching for a registry hack on this, to cange the extensions Windows allows to be considered as "background", but you won't be able to edit the file then.

My plan is to use an XML data island in an HTML file working as Active Desktop, but have to experiment...

There s also this you can se with Actve Desktop, never tried it... but I will soon...
