xp icon text all wrong! (desktop AND explorer)
Hello everybody,
since I started using this new font (calibri bold caps '8') windows is doing strange things with the icon texts, both on the desktop and in explorer.
sometimes it cuts a name after 4 or even one (!) characters, using the ever annoying "...", whereas other names display with up to 12 characters.
whenever i change the font to arial, it's cool again. see the screencaps, it's a pain in the a. i would really like to keep on using that font.

the font came with a msstyle or theme called basic (impossible to find the place where i got it, with this name), so i'm using that too, but if i use that same style with arial everything is fine.
any idea what's going on?
btw, i tried changing horizontal icon spacing from 40 to 32 and up to 64, no change.
someone suggested to set icontitlewrap in the registry (hkcucontrol paneldesktopwindowmetrics) to 1, but no change! i thought it was supposed to wrap icon text instead of putting the "..." at the end (and thus wasting precious space)
i'm using win xp pro sp3.
thanks!
