hello
anyone know of a tool, that can restrict every application/window/icon/whatever to be inside the viewable desktop area?
sometime there are some windows outside.. and its very difficult to get them back into viewable area..

im using a mutimonitor setup with up to 3 monitors.. and they use different resolution and are not straight site by site.. they are a little bit displayced on the desktop area...

right click on taskbar and choosing tile windows might work. or cascade windows.

you are right.. this will get all windows back to viewable area.. but i don´t want them to open/get outside the viewable area.. i do´t want to make your solution évery few minutes =)

Hmmm... is it that certain problem windows are the culprits? I think you could rig some scripts to move them by class... somehow (out of my knowledge area).

I have to say, this sounds like a job for Donation Coder.

looks like allsnap installer would do the job for you. use the config to set up windows not to jump the viewable desktop area. if you want the non-invasive version then it's here: allsnap zip
