font editing

does anyone here know of a simple, preferably free, font editor? i'm trying to remove or overwrite the lowercase letters so the font is basically caps-only.

thanks. :)

I haven't found a decent, easy, freeware fond editor yet. Sourceforge has two fairly nice ones, though one of them needs a java runtime engine and the other one cygwin to work. A bit tedious if you want to carry it around with you..

The one I use is Softy, not a freeware but you do get 30 days of free use. Its website is ugly, somehow that comforts me :-) Can be found on http://users.breathe.com/l-emmett/

thanks, pk!

i actually found this: http://www.high-logic.com/download.html

it's not free either (30-day trial), but it's simple enough and easy to use.

i'll have to check out softy.

Oh forgot to mention this before, the included MS Personal Font Editor is fairly interesting ("eudcedit " in the run box)
